These short fill bottles contain 50ml or 100ml of nicotine-free e-liquid, with 10ml or 20ml of extra space within the bottle to accommodate your nicotine shot of choice. Typically adding a 1 x 10ml or 2 x 10ml nicotine shots (18mg) to a 50ml or 100ml short fill will give you 60ml or 120ml of 3mg e-liquid. 
Once you have added your preferred amount of nicotine, make sure you shake the contents of the short fill bottle well.
